David J. Hart, P.A., Immigration Attorneys, is a law firm located in Miami, Florida that concentrates its practice on matters of United States immigration and nationality law, with a specific emphasis on business, professional and investment cases for foreign national companies and individuals all over the United States and abroad. We represent business organizations in all areas of immigration, including temporary and permanent residence based on employment or family relationships, consular processing, naturalization, re-entry permits, Department of Labor audits and I-9 employer sanctions. Our firm is skilled in the preparation of all immigration petitions and applications and has developed checklists and procedures for streamlining the process for both the employer and the foreign national. Since 1990, with the passage of the Immigration Act of 1990, which took effect in the latter half of 1991, the U.S. immigration system was restructured to reflect a national recognition that skilled personnel, investors, and business owners were to be given preference over others. This newly enacted legislation effectively created categories that permitted relatively rapid processing of temporary and permanent visas for qualifying persons or organizations. The decade of the 90's witnessed a marked increase in these sorts of applications and petitions. The law firm's growth is partially attributable to this, as well as to the globalization of commerce and the international nature of the U.S. market. The advent of the Internet and the rapid growth in the information technology sector also created a surge in demand for professional level workers and specialists with exceptional skills. From 1994 onwards, David J. Hart took a strategic marketing decision that included the pursuit of new clientele from abroad by establishing viable and flexible working relationships with law firms in key geographic locations, including South Africa, Colombia, Canada, Mexico, France, and Austria. This permitted a more streamlined dissemination of important information for the overseas individual or company. Furthermore, the use of the internet was also incorporated into this strategy and now accounts for a significant and expanding database of information, available to any prospective client seeking the appropriate information.
The law firm should be viewed as a "boutique" law firm, in which all clients are given the required attention of a professional at all times. The law firm has associate attorneys who handle the daily affairs, in close coordination with David J. Hart. All matters are reviewed by the attorneys prior to final preparation and submission to the appropriate governmental agency. Since this sort of practice relies heavily on communication with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (at the local and national level), the Department of Labor, as well as the Department of State (including any number of U.S. Consulates worldwide), the law firm strives to continually cultivate and maintain appropriate channels of communication with these offices, in order to assure essential and timely contacts regarding pending cases, or to explore possible issues and solutions to any given issue or problem. Our staff is accustomed to working closely with large, medium and small organizations and we invest substantial time in learning about our clients and their particular requirements so that we adapt our services accordingly. David J. Hart, P.A. is committed to its participation with the American Immigration Lawyers’ Association (“AILA”) on a national level, as well as participation in local AILA Chapters in South Florida, Boston, and the AILA Michigan Chapter as well as with the Michigan Bar. We pursue continuous staff training and participate in teleconferences and conferences to ensure that we provide our clients with authoritative assistance in handling all their immigration needs. In order to accommodate a high volume of nationwide immigration matters, our firm designates one Attorney as the contact for the Company to ensure a close working relationship and avoid inefficiencies and delays. The Attorney designated as the Company’s contact analyzes the number and type of cases, expiry dates, deadlines and immigration strategies for each case. The Attorney works closely with the Company to transition cases to the firm at an appropriate time so as to ensure continuity in any applications pending with a government agency. If appropriate, the Attorney will travel to the Company’s headquarters, or any field offices, and meet with Company representatives to review cases, public access files and if necessary any I-9 files to ensure compliance. The Company has complete access to the Attorney at all times. Our website has received a tremendous response. We receive hundreds of visitors to to the site daily and the volume of inquiries has grown tremendously as a result of our daily postings and our Immigration Fridays Pod Casts, as well as to our Spanish language Pod Cast “Viernes de Inmigración”. Our website contains news updates, legislative updates, advisories, summaries on specific immigrant and nonimmigrant visa processes, as well as links to useful government sites. All our articles and other postings are written in easy-to-understand English and are also translated into Spanish language (see “Cambiar a Español” on the left side above the Main Menu on our site’s Home Page). Our objective is to provide information and a better insight into U.S. immigration laws and procedures. Should you have specific questions about your case, please contact our office for an individual consultation with one of our attorneys specializing in immigration and naturalization law.
